The inception of this project started through my cabinetry apprenticeship program. The challenge from year one was to find inspiration for our capstone project. Working from inspiration to design, I am incredibly proud of this project.

For background, when I moved to Kitchener ON, where I now live and operate my shop, I was planning to finish my apprenticeship. Life however, happens. Processing an accident and other challenges I had to push the completion of this project to the side.

Two years after moving to Kitchener I found a community workshop where I would start to reignite my passion for creating art and furniture. At the time I had not thought that 5 years later in 2025 I would have all the tools I need, a shop, and the space to focus on projects full time.

I am blessed, and Thank God for the blessings and talents he has given me to do this.
